Edie Falco Jokes About Tony Soprano Appearing On 'Nurse Jackie'

Edie Falco was a guest on "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC) to talk about "Nurse Jackie," but Fallon managed to steer the conversation around to -- what else? -- "The Sopranos."

"[James] Gandolfini," he wondered, "is he ever gonna come back? Is he ever gonna guest star on 'Nurse Jackie' maybe?"

Falco had a hilarious idea for a way that Gandolfini could play Tony Soprano in a guest spot: he could "go by on a gurney with a gunshot, and that way people stop asking me about the last episode of 'The Sopranos.'"

"Nurse Jackie" airs Sunday nights at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime. "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC.
