John Mayer Used '50 Shades Of Grey' To Impress A Woman

John Mayer may have had to cancel his latest tour due to throat problems, but that didn't stop him using his voice to woo a special lady.

Appearing on "Late Night" (Weeknights, 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC) to promote his new album, "Born and Raised," Mayer recounted how he noticed that the woman was reading "50 Shades Of Grey."

So he took the initiative and "said, 'I'm gonna sing it to you.' So I sang one of the pages," he told an incredulous Jimmy Fallon.

The woman's reaction? "She fell to the ground laughing," he said.

"Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" airs weeknights at 12:37 a.m. ET on NBC.
