Part-time Chicagoan Oprah Winfrey is offering her Streeterville condo for a steal.
The former talk show host's Streeterville condo was just listed for $2.8 million--half of the $5.6 million she paid for the 3-bedroom, 3-and-a-half bath co-op in 2006, despite the fact that she never actually moved in.
Winfrey has spent her time in Chicago at her duplex condo in Water Tower Place a few blocks away, and first put the unit at 199 East Lake Shore Drive up for rent in November, for $15,000 a month.
While it may not be good enough for Oprah, the 4,607 square foot home in Benjamin Marshall's famous 1913 Beaux-Arts style building is certainly impressive to us plebeians, with 10-foot-high ceilings, a library, solarium, wine room and gourmet custom eat-in kitchen, according to the Rubloff listing.
