Tuesday night's "Conan" featured not one, but two surprise celebrity guests over the course of the episode. First, Chris Parnell dropped in on a Deon Cole sketch to explain some jokes, and a little later on, Vince Vaughn ambushed Conan mid-sentence to promote his new movie "The Watch."
After making his appearance, Parnell left the stage wordlessly, leaving Conan to wonder what was going on. But that didn't last long, because he was almost immediately interrupted by Vaughn's entrance.
For Vaughn's part, he said that Conan brings such an "entree" of comedy to his viewers every night, he thought he'd contribute some "tapas" by way of an exclusive trailer for the movie that also stars Ben Stiller, Jonah Hill and Richard Ayoade.
It's safe to say that between these guys and scheduled guest Tracy Morgan, that audience got a pretty huge dose of comedy.
