EXCLUSIVE: Selina Throws Amy Under The Bus In 'Veep' Deleted Scene

Being vice president comes with twists and turns, and Selina Meyer (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) doesn't mind blaming her staff to keep her own name clean.

In HuffPost TV's exclusive deleted scene from Episode 7 of HBO's "Veep," Selina decides to use her chief of staff Amy (Anna Chlumsky) to deal with a sticky secret service situation.

"She went rogue ... Sorry, Amy, but you know, that does work for me," Selina says definitively. When Amy protests, Selina threatens that she "drop the attitude ... unless you want to be the chief of staff to a dog walker."

Hailing form "In The Loop" co-writer Armando Iannucci, "Veep" centers on the life of the fictional vice president Selina Meyer and has done relatively well in the ratings. The HBO comedy has been renewed for a second season.

The Season 1 finale airs on Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on HBO.
