For a special installment of "Punk'd" (Sun., 8 p.m. ET on MTV) that aired before the "2012 MTV Movie Awards," Ashton Kutcher took control of the show that he first made into a cultural phenomenon. And he targeted one of the most famous personalities in pop culture in Kim Kardashian.
But first, he went for a major name in music, and someone who was very aware of the show, and thus needed to be handled carefully. Kutcher was very excited to try and pull one over on Drake, and he went big with a staged earthquake in a parking garage. The prank went off perfectly, and Drake was both thrilled and not-at-all-amused by Kutcher taking him down a notch.
But while Drake was screaming and very animated during his prank, Kardashian had a much different response. She spends the majority of her prank in the car, texting or talking on her phone, acting almost as if exploding gas stations and watching Scott Disick get arrested after accusing a fan of stealing his wallet happen all the time in her world.
Kutcher was satisfied with the results, and particularly in the success of his elaborate Drake prank. And so, he once again retired his hat and prepared to hand the reins of "Punk'd" off to other people should it's new incarnation continue.
