WATCH: Colbert Thinks The CDC Is Underselling The Zombie Apocalypse

Stephen Colbert has finally broke his silence on the so-called "zombie apocalypse.",

The unrelated incidents of cannibalism that have occurred over the last few weeks have raised eyebrows, and the Center for Disease Control even released a statement to The Huffington Post saying that the "CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead (or one that would present zombie-like symptoms)."

But Colbert pointed out that their position has changed over the years. In 2011, the CDC released a "zombie preparedness guide."

They said that the guide was a joke at the time. But Colbert asked the question on all of our minds. "Sure, back then they said it was a tongue in cheek campaign. but whose tongue in whose cheek?" Why would they have changed their tune? Could the CDC be employing... the living dead?
