Jimmy Fallon's Bob Dylan impression is a thing of beauty, especially when he's singing something as near and dear to our hearts as the Charles In Charge theme or last night's immortal "Trick Or Treat, Smell My Feet". Until now, the children's tune had never been properly recorded with the gravitas it deserved. The lyrics' scathing social commentary and barely concealed tension finally shine through, as does the song's overall acknowledgement of the generational and class warfare inherent in our accepted social mores.
Give us something good to eat, indeed.
