Kevin Hart was arrested on suspision of DUI after narrowly avoiding a collision with a gas tanker on the 101 freeway in Los Angeles, reports TMZ.
California Highway Patrol told the website that the 32-year-old was spotted driving erratically and going 90 miles per hour on the freeway on Sunday around 4:30 a.m. Officers said that when the pulled the "This Is The End" star over after he "almost collided with a gas tanker truck," he showed "objective signs of intoxication" and was unable to pass a sobriety test.
According to TMZ, Hart was charged with misdemenor DUI, and is currently being held in custody on a $5,000 bond.
This appears to be Hart's first run-in with the law. The actor and comedian had been on a hot streak lately, with "This Is The End" hitting theaters later this year, and with the news that legendary comedian Chris Rock has signed on to join him on as a cast member of BET's acclaimed reality show parody "The Real Husbands of Hollywood."
