Rejoice! Maya Rudolph is getting her own variety show on NBC.
According to Deadline, the "Saturday Night Live" alumna will front a variety show pilot that will air as a special after the Winter Olympics. Rudolph will executive produce alongside Lorne Michaels, Erin David and Dave Becky.
Talk of Rudolph fronting a variety show first started in February 2013 when "Up All Night" imploded. The single-camera comedy was going to take a hiatus and return as a multi-camera show with a live audience. Those plans fell apart and Rudolph began getting pilot offers, but shunned them in favor of pursuing the variety show.
Fast forward a year later and her project will air on NBC.
