After finding out about Fitz's involvement with Operation Remington, Olivia Pope wanted answers on the latest episode of "Scandal." Unfortunately, the President wasn't in the answering mood. Even when Olivia dropped a bombshell about that mission that even Fitz didn't know.
“One of the bodies in the ocean was my mother," she told him. Fitz's stunned expression said it all. He had no idea. But he still wouldn't say anything more, insisting that he didn't know what she was talking about. Entertainmenet Weekly's Katie Atkinson summed up his response with one word: "Cold!"
It bothered Hollywood Life's Andy Swift, too, who wrote, "I’m really starting to hope Fitz loses the next election, just to see that smug non-smile wiped off his face for good.” But Chicago Now's Devin Mainville has a theory as to why Fitz is keeping quiet, writing, “I’m anticipating a minimum of three more twists in what we know about Operation Remington in the next two weeks alone. In fact, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to learn the shot down plane was one big, extensively covered up mistake.”
Look for more twists and turns on "Scandal," Thursdays at 10 p.m. ET on ABC.
