Adam Pally hasn't had a chance to show off his love of hip hop and rap on "The Mindy Project," but he showed his mic skills on "Jimmy Kimmel Live." He did admit to one big problem, though, He can't sing along to most of the songs he likes because of the prevalent use of the n-word, which he's not going to say. So he came up with a loophole -- a very clever loophole he demonstrated by performing Kanye West's "New Slaves."
See if you can spot the difference in Pally's version below:
"You see it’s broke Schwimmer racism
That’s that, ‘Don’t touch anything in the store’
You see, there’s rich Schwimmer racism
That’s that ‘Come in, please buy more'
'What you want, a Bentley? A fur coat? A diamond chain?
All you ‘Friends’ want all the same things.'
Used to only be Schwimmers, now everybody playing
Spending everything on Alexander Wang
New Slaves
You see, there’s leaders and there’s followers
But I’d rather be a Ross than a Monica"
After this display, Pally held up a photo of David Schwimmer and dropped the mic. With Adam Pally's "Friends" technique, anybody can sing along with any song, no matter how un-PC it may be.
Unfortunately for fans, Adam Pally and "The Mindy Project" are on hiatus until April. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. EST on ABC.
