The Oscar winner posted the following photo to Instagram on Monday, March 17. Though he claims not to be comparing himself to Jesus Christ, it sure seems like it with the side-by-side juxtaposition. Leto captioned the photo: "Haaaa! Fashion may go out of style but style never goes out of fashion. #ClassicLooks #FashionForward #ThanksJC #NotComparingToChrist xo"
At least he's not the first to point it out. U.K.'s The Independent ran a piece titled "Jared Leto bears uncanny resemblance to Jesus Christ at Oscars 2014" after the Academy Awards. Buzzfeed then ran with it even further.
