Kirstie Alley has led her weight loss journey publicly, and now the former "Fat Actress" is returning to Jenny Craig in her quest to whittle her waistline.
"I'm not like circus fat," the 63-year-old says in a new ad for the weight loss program. "I just wanna lose like 20 pounds. Because your food is so yummy, and I want my personal consultant Laura back!"
Ok, well she really wants to lose 30 pounds, but it doesn't take much for Alley to convince the company to take her back, and we can't say we're surprised since they go way back. Alley first signed on to be the face of Jenny Craig back in 2004 and managed to drop 75 pounds thanks to their pre-packaged meals, before parting ways in 2007.
"I have a goal to lose 30 pounds,” Alley told "Today" show co-host Matt Lauer on April 7 of her new weight loss goals. “Thirty pounds is a lot.”
The actress explained that a combination of “man troubles” and overeating during the holidays made it too easy for her to regain some of the weight she had shed. Alley's weight has famously yo-yoed over the years, and since leaving Jenny Craig, she claims she's lost 100 pounds thanks to Organic Liaison, a weight loss program she helped develop.
And while she's gained some of that weight back, Alley isn't abandoning her Organic Liaison line, but she's incorporating it into her new diet plan. According to People magazine, supplements from her line will now be sold at Jenny Craig centers.
