We’ve all seen (and perhaps taken) our fair share of mirror selfies. So it was only a matter of time before somebody invented a mirror that just snaps the pictures for us.
Introducing: The "Self Enhancing Live Feed Image Engine." Or, you guessed it, S.E.L.F.I.E.
Made by the marketing agency iStrategy Labs, the S.E.L.F.I.E not only takes your photo, it does the social media legwork for you by posting the image to your Twitter feed.
The S.E.L.F.I.E is actually a two-way mirror, rigged with a webcam, LED lighting and facial-recognition software.
Right now, the mirror is an experiment and is not commercially available. However, if your heart is set on having one of your very own, you can reach out to iStrategy Labs for inquiries.
But one important existential question remains: If the mirror takes the photo for you, is it really a selfie?
