Why Did Naya Rivera And Big Sean Call Of Their Engagement? Rumors Swirl

After news broke that "Glee" star Naya Rivera and her fiance Big Sean called off their engagement, the question on everyone's mind was: Why? Two days later, a disturbing picture begins to form ... that is, if you believe the rumors.

According to TMZ, Rivera was too controlling and too jealous of the women Big Sean worked with.

The couple reportedly attended couples' therapy weeks ago, supposedly because Rivera "demanded" to know where her fiance was at all times and would threaten him by saying things like, "If you don't listen to what I say, I'll ruin your career."

Add to that a since-deleted tweet from Rivera accusing Big Sean of stealing her Rolexes, and you have yourself a bitter breakup.

A request for comment made to Rivera's rep was not immediately answered.

Rivera and Big Sean announced their engagement in October 2013, six months after stepping out as a couple for the first time. Fast forward another six months to when the rapper's rep released an official breakup statement:

"After careful thought and much consideration, Sean has made the difficult decision to call the wedding off. The recent rumors and accusations reported by so called or fake sources are simply untrue. Sean wishes Naya nothing but the best and it is still his hope that they can continue to work through their issues privately. We will not be commenting again on this matter."

E! News notes that Rivera and Big Sean have unfollowed each other on Twitter.
