Gillian Flynn's novel "Gone Girl" is set to debut big at the box office later this Fall and now the author is taking another of her famous works to the small screen.
Entertainment One Television is working with Flynn and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer's" Marti Noxon to adapt her first book, "Sharp Objects," into a one-hour recurring TV drama. The show, like the book, would feature a reporter who returns home after a stay in a mental hospital and is assigned to cover the murder of two young girls in her hometown. Flynn is set to executive produce the show.
