Actress, activist and all around bad ass Laverne Cox just made history this morning when she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series for her role on the Netflix hit "Orange is the New Black."
Cox, who plays Sophia Burset, is the first openly transgender person to receive an Emmy nomination.
