Former Guns N' Roses Lead Singer, Slash, Says He's A Total Pushover Father

You'd expect someone who shreds his guitar in front of millions of hard rock fans might be a tough father, but for Slash, that couldn't be more untrue.

The former Guns N' Roses lead singer appeared on HuffPost Live and spoke about his family, noting that, when it comes to fatherhood, "I'm pretty laid back." Slash is father to two sons, who are 12 and 10 years old. When asked if he is a "pushover father," Slash replied in the absolute affirmative. "I'm totally taken advantage of," he admitted, adding, "I have my moments. You can push me a long way."

The rock star spends a lot of time on the road, but he flies home a lot, he explained. "I'm a homebody," he said. "I don't want to hang out on the road." Playing six shows a week, each in a different city, makes spending time with family difficult, but Slash declared, "you have to just make it work."

Ultimately, the musician credits his wife and children for remaining by his side as he navigates his hectic rock 'n' roll lifestyle. "They've just been with me through the whole thing."
