Anderson Cooper took some light-hearted shots at his former colleague Piers Morgan Wednesday night during CNN's New Year's Eve coverage.
After Kathy Griffin shared an anecdote about Morgan ruining a photo of her and Sidney Poitier, Cooper looked at his co-host in faux-puzzlement and asked, "Piers who?"
From there Cooper joked that he hopes Morgan -- whose CNN show was canceled in March of 2014 -- "gets a job some day."
But after agreeing with Griffin that the Daily Mail editor is "dying for a Twitter war," Cooper concluded by saying he didn't think "anybody cares what [Morgan] does," anyway.
