Lena Dunham: 'I Don't Care What Conservative White Men Think About Me'

If conservative white men have a problem with Lena Dunham, she's not to worried about it.

While chatting with Bill Simmons on "The B.S. Report" this week, Dunham addressed the backlash she received over a segment of her memoir, Not That Kind Of Girl, in which she described how at age 7 she "carefully spread open" her 1-year-old sister's vagina.

“I grew up … in a world where the complexity of human sexuality was openly discussed," The "Girls" creator and star told Simmons, adding, “I don’t care what conservative white men think about me, but I do care if anything I write is painful for survivors of sexual abuse, if anything I write is painful for other feminists.”

When the conservative website Truth Revolt called Dunham's actions sexual abuse in October, she immediately took to Twitter to respond to the backlash.
