Taryn Manning, known to many as the radically religious Pennsatucky on "Orange Is The New Black," has found her next project.
According to Deadline.com, Manning is set to star in the Indie film "A Light Beneath Their Feet." She will trade her meth-addicted persona for that of a bi-polar mother. The movie centers around her costar, who has yet to be named, and their decision over whether to go to college or stay home and care for Manning's character.
"A Light Beneath Their Feet" is directed by Valerie Weiss, of "Losing Control," and is set to begin filming in February. Manning has starred in numerous films, including "Hustle & Flow," "8 Mile" and, of course, "Crossroads." Here's Manning singing Shania Twain with Zoe Saldana and Britney Spears:
